Today, Dosbarth Chirk enjoyed a wonderful trip to go pumpkin picking as part of our Harvest learning. The children explored the pumpkin patch, selecting their own pumpkins and learning about where food comes from and the importance of harvest time. Although the weather was very wet and muddy, this only added to the adventure, and everyone had a fantastic time splashing through puddles, exploring outdoors and embracing the season. It was a memorable experience that helped bring our Harvest topic to life and created lots of smiles along the way!

The activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving, while also developing counting and mathematical skills. We were very proud of the fantastic bear homes the children designed and built! 🐻🌿🏡

Pnawn da,
We’ve tried to be as organised as possible and have planned key dates for the entire year to help you plan ahead. While we will do our very best to stick to these dates, there may be occasions when changes are needed.
We’ll also be adding additional events and activities throughout the year, but we thought sharing these dates now would be a helpful starting point!
Kind regards,
Mrs Rolls
