Chirk: Children in Need

We have been learning about helping and supporting others, and enjoyed lots of fun activities throughout the day for Children in Need.

We participated in a ‘Joe Wicks Children in Need’ workout, painted Pudsey Bears, independently washing our brushes after painting . We iced and decorated spotty biscuits using Welsh vocabulary to name the colours. We made Pudsey masks by selecting resources and applying skills to cut, colour and construct our own masks. We also played Pudsey bingo.

Coin donations brought in by the children and staff in Early Years covered 4 Pudsey Bears. We worked together to carefully select coins placing on Pudsey.

Chirk: Autumn potions

Reception have been very busy in the mud kitchen adding different ingredients to their potions and adding how many altogether. They used herbs from our sensory garden to make them smell and taste delicious! : end

Chirk: Autumn Vibes

It has been all about Autumn . The children have setup a shop selling apples and pears. They have enjoyed weighing the apples to see which ones were heavier.
We have been making apple pies and crumbles in the sand and scooping them out of the water and moving the pine cones with the trucks.
