Spring Term 2018
Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas break and are ready and excited for our new topics this term.
Over the next few weeks, we will be finding out all about the islands of Hawaii, home to several of the world’s biggest volcanoes. We will take a look at Hawaii’s geographical features as well as some of the cultural traditions, popular music and art work. Following that we will take a closer look at volcanoes and find out exactly how they erupt and why.
Some of our other focuses this term will be as follows:

Science: The human body and how to keep it healthy
Art: Hawaiian Tikis
DT: Building our very own working volcano
Music: ‘Compose a season’
ICT: Our creative LAVA project
