Hello! I joined Ysgol Maes Y Llan back in 2014, and since then I’ve had the pleasure of teaching a range of year groups including Years 2/3, 4/5 and 5/6. Over the course of my career I’ve taught every year group, which has given me a real love for seeing children grow and thrive at every stage of their learning journey.
I’m fluent in Welsh and am proud to use this every day in my role as Welsh Lead – it’s a real joy to share the language and culture with the children.
Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about reading and writing (I’ve even written my own book!). I’m also a big food fan, always keen to try something new. Life is definitely full and busy with my two children, Liam and Molly, who are also pupils here at Ysgol Maes Y Llan, and our lively dog, Travis, who keeps us on our toes!
Being a teacher, a mum, and a writer means no two days are ever the same – but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
