If your child’s third birthday falls between 1 September and 31 December 2025, you can apply for the January 2026 intake of Funded Early Education. You’ll need to apply by October 24, 2025.
You can access up to 30 hours per week of combined Funded Early Education and government-funded childcare, for up to 48 weeks of the year. This Funded Early Education element forms 10 hours of the 30 hour offer.
Please note that securing a Funded Early Education place does not give you an automatic nursery place in Ysgol Maes y Llan. You must apply for a nursery place separately.
