We went to Ruabon library this week. The library service were kind enough to find books and photo albums all about Ruabin, to help us with our topic this term. The children loved their visit and found lots of amazing information. They also enjoyed asking Shannon and Sarah questions all about the library.
The children have been busy this afternoon exploring shape and using charcoal. They have been looking at the Pontcysyllte aqueduct and have created some wonderful drawings.
This week in class we have been completing some practical maths activities – making equal groups of different objects, in preparation for multiplication skills. We also played a Welsh game with body parts where we found our partner by asking the question – oes gen ti …?
The children are regularly practising their conversational Welsh language patterns, building confidence, collaboration and a natural transferring outside of the classroom. Da iawn pawb!
